Hello! I’m Alice (meowkitty17) from the UK, currently living in Denmark. I’m 30 years old and have been passionate about drawing since I could hold a pencil. I was always doodling as a child, and by the age of 17, I began to develop my drawing style. I drew inspiration from manga, anime, and various artists I followed online during the early days of social media.
My work is heavily influenced by themes of femininity and elements of nature, as well as my emotions, which play a significant role in my artistic expression. While studying Art and Design in school, I focused primarily on fine art, but I eventually realized that my true calling lay in illustration. This realization has allowed me to reach new heights in my artistic journey, especially as I explore design in a new chapter of my drawing style.
Drawing has always provided me with a sense of calm, which has been particularly beneficial for my mental health and in coping with suspected chronic pelvic pain in recent years. When I focus on drawing, everything becomes still and serene, and my mind slows down. Creativity is my passion—it fuels me and defines who I am as an artist, driving me forward in my work. It’s inspiring to reflect on my artistic journey so far.
